"My decision to take part of the Weltwärts-Program was based on my strong desire to go abroad for a longer period of time and to get to know more about another culture. I also wanted to do something where I can bring in my former experiences and not just traveling around and visit different places. Within my first weeks in Kenya I got the chance to visit a community project situated in Ahero which truly impressed me by the passion and high motivation the people have there. This was really inspiring and I am pretty excited to work for CIVS for the next 10 months!"
