Supporting the Project

Kenya is home to one of the world's harshest HIV/AIDS epidemics. Around 1.2 million children have been orphaned by HIV/AIDS. CIVS is therefore implementing a community development project in Ahero (near Kisumu). It specifically aims at supporting the HIV/AIDS orphans and vulnerable children in this region through increasing household incomes of the local people. Your donation makes a huge difference for the orphans! These are examples of what your money can do:

10 chicken as a lasting source of nutrition and income Fresh eggs improve diet, and sales of extra eggs and chickens provide a source of income for the community and multiply in impact. € out of  €50 needed

Provision of nutritious food every day for an orphan Many of the total orphans hardly get one meal per day. The provision of nutritious food for 1 month enables them to attend local schools and concentrate while learning. € out of €150 needed

Purchase of agricltural tools for the community farm The farm supports our orphan feeding program with the planting of maize and millet. Proper tools are urgently needed to effectively work on the farm. € out of  €30 needed
