Are you interested in being part of a team that is enhancing community development in Kenya? The Center for International Voluntary Services (CIVS) is the organisation that can provide you with the opportunity to reach out to community development initiatives and projects across Kenya.
Some volunteers come to Kenya just for a few weeks to go for a workcamp. Some spend from one up to six months working as medium term volunteers, while others may stay around for a year or even longer! How much time do you have to share?
Below is brief guideline on how you can join us as a volunteer:

Step 2
Upon receiving you inquiry we will send to you our volunteer application form and general information you may need to know while coming to Kenya. Please fill the application form and send it back to us.
Step 3
Once we receive your filled application form, we will send to you specific information about your project. We will also send to you a volunteer agreement form, which you can sign and reattach to us or sign upon your arrival in Kenya.
Step 4
After reading the agreement, you now go ahead and book your flight. Provide us with your arrival dates so that we arrange your airport pick up and your accommodation.
Step 5
On your arrival day, we will pick you from the Airport. Before you go to your project we will conduct a city tour in Nairobi and a three-day orientation for you.
Step 6
We will continue to support you during your stay in Kenya and monitor your progress and challenges you are facing. On your departure day we will take you back to the Airport and hope to see you again in future.
